COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Police took a man into custody Thursday after a shelter-in-place order in Colorado Springs.
According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), officers received a call regarding a felony menacing with a machete. Police tell 11 News they have responded to calls involving this same suspect several times over the past few days.
When officers arrived, the suspect allegedly would not leave the house, so a shelter-in-place order was issued at 11 a.m. for the 2300 Block of West Kiowa Street
The order was lifted at 11:44 a.m. after the man was taken into custody. The suspect is now facing felony menacing and harassment charges.
There were no reported injuries, and police say there is no threat to the community.
