Red Dead Redemption Gets New-Gen Port, Dropping Next Month

Rockstar Games is trying to sweep that second Grand Theft Auto VI delay under the carpet, and it's doing so by dropping a new-gen port of Red Dead Redemption.

That's right. Red Dead Redemption will be natively launching on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S next month, on 4 December to be exact.

That's far from all as the game will also be coming to Android, iOS, Netflix, and Nintendo Switch 2 - the latter being particularly exciting.

Please note that I'm talking about Red Dead Redemption, not Red Dead Redemption 2; we're still waiting on a new-gen port on that one but perhaps this confirmed release suggests it's only a matter of time.
