ORANGE, Ohio -- Village Council has authorized Mayor Judson Kline to execute an agreement with DS Architecture of Cleveland to provide design services for a potential new fire station and the proposed renovation of Village Hall.
Council approved the agreement Wednesday (Nov. 12) for an amount not to exceed $85,000.
On Oct. 8, council had authorized Kline to negotiate contracts with DS Architecture to develop a preliminary design and budget for the fire station project and Richard L. Bowen & Associates of Cleveland to do the same for the Village Hall renovation.
The selections were based on the recommendations of a review committee -- composed of Kline and other village officials -- that was formed to assist council with the process.
