PIERCE COUNTY, N.D. (KFYR) - Two people were injured in two separate crashes in Pierce County on Tuesday.
North Dakota Highway Patrol says shortly before 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 11, a semi, driven by a 47-year-old Rugby man, T-boned an SUV while crossing Highway 3 near mile marker 189.
The SUV driver, an 88-year-old Esmond woman, sustained serious injuries. The semi driver was not hurt.
In a separate crash, the state patrol said shortly before 6:30 p.m., a semi went into a ditch and rolled on N.D. Highway 19 near mile marker 103.
The driver, a 55-year-old Esmond man, was not wearing a seatbelt and suffered serious injuries.
Both crashes remain under investigation.
