A man was seriously injured after being struck by a car in Salford on Thursday morning (November 13).
Police and paramedics were called to the collision on Cheltenham Crescent close to the Ezras Torah synagogue at around 7am to reports of a Toyota striking a pedestrian.
The road was taped off at the roundabout at the junction of Cheltenham Crescent, Northumberland Street and Norman Road amid investigations.

The pedestrian, a male in his 60s, was rushed to hospital where he remains with serious and potentially life-changing injuries, Greater Manchester Police said.
The force's Serious Collisions Unit are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward amid ongoing enquiries.
