A man with a history of allegedly slugging women is facing new charges after another unprovoked attack in June in Lincoln Park, police said.
William Livingston, 32, was identified as the person who struck two women, 29 and 40, in the 2700 block of North Clark Street on June 12, police said.
Livingston, who was arrested Wednesday in Cook County Jail, where he was being held for an earlier case, was one of two men highlighted recently in social media regarding a series of violent encounters in Chicago. The encounters have raised concerns about how the criminal legal system addresses the mental health of violent repeat offenders.
