On one of the city's first truly crisp mornings, residents took to the streets to celebrate those who had served.

At 11:00 p.m. on Nov. 11, The 47th annual City of Columbia Veterans day came through Columbia to the applause and excitement of onlookers.

JROTC cadets from schools across the area marched, and floats from veterans organizations showed off their American pride.
