FRANKFORD W.Va. (WVDN) – In honor of Veterans’ Day, Frankford Elementary School held its annual Veterans’ Day Program on Monday, Nov. 10. Officials with the school said, “This is an event we look forward to every year.”
The program included the presentation of the flags by the Greenbrier East High School ROTC and the 5th-grade Bell Choir playing the Star-Spangled Banner and America the Beautiful. There was a Flag Parade, readings by several students, and Mr. Bryant, Greenbrier County Superintendent, played TAPS.
This year, they had over two dozen local veterans in attendance. School officials said, “It is a privilege and an honor to have them with us each year.”
