BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - An alleged gang member is behind bars, and over 1,000 lethal doses of a fentanyl and cocaine compound are reportedly off the street after a recent drug bust operation spanning four parishes.
According to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, deputies began investigating Rodney “Nunu” Davis, a member of the “Muscle Gang,” in October and November after receiving information that he may be selling fentanyl and cocaine in the Gardere Lane area.
After conducting hours of surveillance and linking four residences to Davis’ alleged narcotics activity, officials say they executed search warrants on Skysail Avenue in Baton Rouge, Highway 16 in Denham Springs, Madrid Avenue in St. Gabriel, and South 12th Street in Port Allen.
