A Sudbury teen who choked his girlfriend as passing motorists watched, then assaulted a woman on a bicycle moments later, has been given a conditional discharge.
Ayden Knoll, 19, pleaded guilty in Sudbury court to assault by choking and assault. Despite the discharge, he will be on a short leash thanks to a three-year probation order that includes a condition that he takes treatment for alcohol abuse, domestic violence, grief/bereavement, and anger management.

Knoll will not have a criminal record provided he stays out of the courts over the next three years.
