First he was charged for allegedly burning an Israeli flag – now, seven months later, he’s been arrested for allegedly crashing an event featuring an Israeli soldier.
The name Qabil Ibrahim looked familiar.
“That’s the guy,” Israel Defense Force (IDF) soldier Jonathan Karten told the Toronto Sun upon hearing the news.
Karten recognized the accused from the building on Elm St. where he was speaking with students and was relieved to hear of this arrest, telling people in his Tel Aviv office, “They found the (alleged) attacker, the sixth person.”
While these charges have not been proven in court, Ibrahim has been charged by Toronto Police before.
