CLE ELUM, Wash. -- Washington Department of Transportation plans to start replacing an overpass on I-90 at the end of the month.
According to WSDOT, crews will work to replace the Bullfrog Overpass near Cle Elum by the end of November.
The overpass was severely damaged by a truck with an oversized load last month. It had to be completely demolished.
WSDOT says crews will work over westbound lanes first and drivers should expect short-term full closures intermittently along the freeway.
Governor Bob Ferguson authorized emergency funding to fix the overpass and the work is expected to be completed by January.
