The Steelers have another open spot on their practice squad.
On Thursday, the New York Giants signed wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins off of the Steelers practice squad, adding him to their 53-man roster.
Hodgins had been on the Steelers practice squad since Sept. 17. He hasn’t appeared in a game yet this season.
Hodgins will be returning to familiar territory in New York, where he played a role in the Giants’ playoff run in the 2022-23 season. He hauled in 351 receiving yards that season and later a 105-yard performance in the wild card round of the playoffs.
With Hodgins now on the Giants, the veteran Marquez Valdes-Scantling is the only remaining wide receiver on the Pittsburgh practice squad.
The Steelers have yet to announce a signing to fill Hodgins’ old spot.
