After a couple of record-breaking cold mornings, it’s time to thaw out.

The warming trend has begun. Sunny skies and above seasonal average temperatures will continue through the weekend. The onshore winds return Friday before switching to an offshore pattern this weekend. The dry spell continues as well with drought conditions and parched pastures from Highway 301 to I-75 and the Suwannee Valley.

Flip flops and warm sun rays will shine on Friday with mostly sunny skies and warmer temperatures on Saturday and Sunday. The wind will increase from the southwest on Sunday to around 10-15 mph.
