STAMFORD, Conn. — The legal defense team for Michelle Troconis has filed an appeal of her conviction on charges connected to the disappearance and presumed death of New Canaan mom of five, Jennifer Farber Dulos.
Troconis is currently serving prison time for conspiracy to commit murder, two counts of tampering with evidence, one count of conspiracy to commit tampering with physical evidence, and hindering prosecution.
The 1,000-page appeal argues that Troconis was not given a fair trial and that the original case should be vacated. It also seeks to determine whether a new trial is needed. The public defender currently representing Troconis listed the following arguments:
