HOWARD, Wis. (WBAY) - Brown County Sheriff Todd Delain confirmed with Action 2 News on Thursday that two women who perished in a house fire last week in Howard were sisters.

The Brown County Medical Examiner confirmed earlier this week that the deceased were 26-year-old sisters Haley Ann Fritsch and Kayla Lynn Fritsch.

Their cause of death has not yet been determined, the sheriff indicated in an email to Action 2 News on Thursday. The Medical Examiner is conducting their investigation to determine the cause and manner of death of the two women.

The Brown County Sheriff’s Office is also conducting an investigation into the death of the two women, which is routine for an unwitnessed death, the sheriff said.
