Another range of coloured sand products has been pulled from the shelves at Officeworks.

The Kadink Decorative Sand 10g six-pack contains vials of pink, purple, yellow, white, blue, and green sand which can be used for decoration or play to develop fine motor skills.

The product safety watchdog said it was being recalled because the sand could include asbestos, which is a prohibited substance in Australia.

The sand, which has been sold between 2020 and 2025 at Officeworks outlets, could pose a potential health risk.

Asbestos has been detected in some samples after lab testing.

"Importantly, respirable asbestos has not been detected in any of the tested samples," Product Safety Australia said in its notice .

"The release of respirable asbestos fibres is unlikely to occur
