Srinagar, Nov 13: Condemning the blast near New Delhi’s Red Fort that claimed at least twelve lives, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday reaffirmed that the people of Jammu and Kashmir believe in peace and brotherhood.
Speaking to reporters in Jammu, Omar said the attack was “highly condemnable” and that no religion could ever justify the killing of innocent people.
He said such brutal acts only serve to destroy the harmony that binds the country together. “It is highly condemnable. No religion can justify the killing of innocents with such brutality,” Omar said.
