Lukas Wenig was completely overcome with emotion after booking his place in the Grand Slam of Darts quarter-finals.
The German, who is making his debut in this major tournament , beat compatriot Niko Springer 10-8 on Thursday night.
Wenig won his group in Wolverhampton earlier this week, beating Jonny Clayton and Cameron Crabtree to progress.
With his PDC Tour card for next year yet to be confirmed, he then came into the last 16 desperate for another victory.
And that's exactly what he pulled off, with the moment almost proving too much for him on the stage.
As Wenig, who took out ten of 19 attempts at doubles in the match, hit double 20 to win it, he looked in disbelief.
He put his hands to his head and stared back at Springer before walking into a long hug from his opponent.
