New details surrounding the weeks leading up to Ozzy Osbourne’s death have emerged.

On Wednesday, Ozzy’s wife, Sharon, and their kids Kelly and Jack honored the Prince of Darkness after his passing at age 76 in July .

While on “The Osbournes” podcast , Jack, 40, revealed that his father was in the hospital two weeks before his final Black Sabbath show on July 5.

“The story, I don’t think even you know it, we had him in the hospital and we were just terrified that people were going to find out,” Sharon, 73, confessed.

“So we had all the security and the hospital… the hospital was amazing, they really were,” she continued. “The people at the front desk were told ‘nobody, if they ask for Ozzy, he’s not here. Nobody’s allowed up.’ All of that.”
