LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Against the Grain is closing its downtown Louisville brewery.

In a social media post Wednesday night, the brewery said its lease at Slugger Field has come to end and the business made the decision not to renew it.

Officials said Tuesday, Dec. 23 will be the last day for restaurant operations at Against the Grain Public House.

“The last 14 years have been a blast-and-a-half with so many great people,” the post continued. “It’s all been a heckuva ride, and one we’ll cherish forever.”

The post said Against the Grain is “evolving.”

“All these great experiences and our community have helped shape us into the beverage manufacturing company we are today, committed to putting our best foot forward to produce world class beets and beverages right here in Louisville,” the post
