While the world waits for GTA VI a little longer , Rockstar Games is about to release its hit 2010 western Red Dead Redemption on compatible phones.
The game is set to launch on December 2 with “mobile-friendly control options,” and it will be free to play with a Netflix subscription. The press release seems to suggest that it will also be available to purchase, but the wording makes it a little unclear. When I search the game on my phone, only the Netflix version appears. That said, looking at Rockstar’s developer profile, it does have all its other games for sale, so I expect Red Dead will get a similar dual release. Currently, GTA: San Andreas Definitive Edition costs $26.99, so maybe John Marston’s journey will be similarly priced.
