NEVADA (KOLO) - The Nevada District Attorneys Association and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office are showing support for Governor Joe Lombardo’s Safe Streets and Neighborhoods Bill.
The NDAA praised the act for benefits related to public safety, juvenile justice, pretrial release and opioid use.
The bill was scheduled to be heard Thursday.
Washoe County DA Chris Hicks released this statement on the bill:
