CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - The State of North Carolina continued witness testimony during the fourth day of the trial for Terry Connor Jr. and Steven Staples.

Day four, which took place on Thursday, Nov. 13, started with the continuing testimony of Garron Lawing, a former Concord officer who searched the home of Steven Staples and his wife.

The witnesses called were comprised of officers with the Concord and the Charlotte-Mecklenburg police departments. All were asked about the search warrant involving the Staples home, including confirmation that identification of both people was found in the home, along with ammunition and an FBI jacket.

Body-worn camera footage showed parts of the searches.
