Traffic closures on U.S. Highway 11E due to construction as it is being five-laned in East Hamblen County will continue Monday.

The first closure began at 7 p.m. Thursday, November 13, as U.S. 11E closed near Ball Trailer Park for utility installation work. The closure was to be in place until 6 a.m. on Friday, November 14.

As with most projects, this schedule is contingent on favorable weather conditions. Motorists are advised to expect delays and use extreme caution in this area as workers will be present.

Another road closure around the U.S. 11E project will take place Monday.
