The Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits celebrated 15 years of “stories, service and heart” when it recognized six honorees during its annual Visions Awards this week in Oklahoma City.
“This evening is not just about recognition, it’s about honoring those who turn good intentions into lasting change,” said Gayle Maxwell, who was the Visions co-chair along with Wes Haddock.
Honorees were Kari Watkins , Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum, with the President’s Award; Heather Gaglio, Green Shoe Foundation (and also previously with Calm Waters), with the Inasmuch Special Recognition Award; Page Beatty , Impact Oklahoma, with the Shirley Shanker Volunteer Award; Ed Long , Oklahoma Impact Investing Collaborative, with the Innovation Award; the Youth Emergency Shelter , with the Pat
