I’m starting to feel like Aggie Wiggs in reverse. Despite all of the evidence in “Bacchanal” pointing toward Nile’s involvement in Madison’s disappearance, I’m not convinced that he is her killer. After all of these twists and turns, it would be way too easy an explanation for this mess, which, as it turns out, is a lot messier than we thought. That Nile is capable of getting away with murder is inarguable; we see him do just that by the end of this episode. Benitez’s fight against Jarvis Yards takes its strength from the injustice of that endless impunity. But what if Nile is covering for someone?
