3 teens arrested in relation to homicide of 16

Calgary police have arrested three 15-year-old boys in relation to the death of 16-year-old Carter Spivak-Villeneuve.

Spivak-Villeneuve was found dead in the northeast community of Abbeydale Aug. 1, after police were called for reports of a person in medical distress at approximately 1:20 a.m.

Officers arrived to find Spivak-Villeneuve and an autopsy found his death was the result of a homicide.

At the time, police were canvassing for home security footage and asked anyone who might have seen discussion about his death on social media to come forward.

Police now say they believe Spivak-Villeneuve knew the three suspects, and that there had been a plan to meet up that night. They allege his death was the "result of an ongoing d
