LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Community Resource Center to help anyone affected by the Nov. 4 UPS plane crash is now open.

Jean Romano is the vice president of adult services with Seven County Services and wanted to help immediately.

She said, “My first thought was, ‘How can we help?’”

As part of the response, Seven County Services was deployed, according to Romano, and psychological first-aid responders were working with families within five hours of the crash.

Seven Counties is one organization working at the new Community Resource Center that opened Thursday for anyone affected by the plane crash.

Romano said, “We want to make sure that folks know there is help locally, long term in the community. So that as things settle, as they try to return back to whatever that new normal may look
