LOUISVILLE, Ky. — West End School is a big fan of World Series winner Will Smith, and here’s why.
A hometown hero has done it again on baseball’s biggest stage. Kentucky Day School and University of Louisville alumnus Will Smith won his third World Championship with the Los Angeles Dodgers on Nov. 2.
Smith shined throughout the World Series, launching a Game 7, 11th inning home run against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Some of Smith’s biggest fans are students at West End School in Louisville, where Smith and his wife have had a partnership through their Catching Hope Foundation.
