A pilot was injured after the wind pushed an aircraft that was being maintained, causing the pilot to fall, at the Lancaster Airport Thursday morning, fire officials said.
The incident was reported at 10:25 a.m. when a single-person aircraft, which is believed to be an ultralight or a parasail, was undergoing maintenance at the Lancaster Airport at 500 Airport Road near Route 501, according to Manheim Township Fire Rescue Deputy Fire Chief Adrian Borry.
Borry told PennLive the aircraft wasn’t fully put together, as it didn’t have any wings at the time of the incident.
