Police officers investigating the fatal stabbing of a man in a Bega park, on the NSW South Coast, have conducted a search of nearby wetlands.
Suspects in last month's stabbing death of a 43-year-old man remain at large.
The victim was found by first responders at a park on East Street in Bega about 2am on October 6, following reports of a concern for welfare.
Paramedics tried to save the man; however, he died at the scene.
A homicide investigation was launched.
Yesterday, South Coast Police District officers and the State Emergency Service conducted a search in and around the Glebe Wetlands on East Street, Bega, and the surrounding area.
The aim of the search was to locate items that may have been discarded after the alleged stabbing, police said.
