HARVEY, La. —

The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating the deadly shooting of a Harvey man.

According to Sheriff Joseph Lopinto, deputies responded to a report of a burglary at a home in the 4200 block of Lac Couture Drive. Advertisement

When deputies arrived, they found a man who had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The person who reported the burglary and the person who was shot both live at the home, according to JPSO.

JPSO did not provide any information on a suspect.
