A New Orleans City Park police officer is behind bars after allegedly "providing semen" to an underage girl in order to impregnate her, Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill said.
Clarence Lee Evans, 45, was booked into Orleans Justice Center Thursday morning on two counts of indecent behavior with juveniles and one count of contributing to the delinquency of juveniles.
Evans allegedly met the girl on an app called Just A Baby, which connects sperm donors, egg donors and surrogates for the purpose of conceiving a child. Twice, he traveled to St. Landry Parish hotels to meet the youth and "provided her with his semen," which he "manually inserted" into her vagina, Murrill said. Authorities don't believe he had sex with the youth.
