Global stainless steel pipe manufacturer BUTTING officially broke ground Thursday on its first U.S. production facility and North American headquarters in Loxley, marking a major milestone in the company’s expansion into the American market.

The ceremony took place at the future site of BUTTING USA’s 58-acre campus in the Loxley Industrial Corridor. Attendees parked at Baldwin Preparatory Academy and were shuttled to the site for the event.

Rather than a traditional groundbreaking, BUTTING leadership, state officials, and local partners participated in a symbolic “rooting ceremony” by planting a 200-gallon live oak tree—chosen to represent the company’s long-term commitment to Baldwin County and the United States.
