Chamber president touts tourism's impact on Genesee County

BATAVIA — Tourism has been a steady contributor to the economy in Genesee County this year, the County Chamber of Commerce’s president told those gathered Thursday for the annual membership meeting.

“When visitors come in here, stay here ... that’s money circulating through the county. It’s outside money coming in,” Chamber President Brian Cousins said.
