ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - One of Central Louisiana’s key economic drivers is hoping to expand economic development and education to more areas of the region with a new partnership agreement.
On Thursday, Nov. 13, leaders with LSUA and the Tunica Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the university’s Mulder Hall.
The five-year partnership focuses on advancing economic development, academic opportunities and workforce growth in Central Louisiana.
LSUA Chancellor Dr. Paul Coreil said the school now has over 8,000 students enrolled.
“This MOU represents a powerful commitment to progress through partnership,” he said. “Together, LSUA and the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe will continue building educational pathways that empower individuals, strengthen our communities,
