HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (WEVV) — A food drive in Hopkins County is underway to support residents in need, hosted by United Way of Coalfield.

Residents can donate non-perishable food items at the Hopkins County Regional Chamber of Commerce and the City of Madisonville Municipal Building.

Local organizations including Hopkins County Schools, GE Aerospace, and Carhartt are also collecting donations from their employees.

Every donation counts as the community comes together to combat hunger.

United Way of Coalfield is a local, non-profit supporting Hopkins, Caldwell, & Muhlenberg counties.
