“These exit polls, which have given a clear edge to the NDA and ruled out formation of Government by the Mahagatbandhan, came out even when the last vote had not been cast. These surveys are carried out just to bring pressure on officials involved in the election process,” said Tejashwi adding “We are sure we will sweep the poll on November 14 and form the Government on November 18.”
Women outnumbered men by 14 per cent or more in voter turnout in seven districts of Bihar, where assembly elections were recently held, as per the Election Commission.
In 10 other districts, the polling percentage among women was over 10 per cent more than men.
Patna, however, was the only district in the state to have recorded more turnout of men than women. (PTI)
