PEORIA, AZ (AZFamily) — Multiple Valley school districts will face tough financial decisions after voters rejected funding measures in last week’s elections.
Nine Phoenix-area districts received “no” votes on bond overrides or budget increases, according to unofficial results:
Buckeye Union High School District
Buckeye Elementary School District
Tolleson Union High School District
Peoria Unified School District
Higley Unified School District
Nadaburg Unified School District
Dysart Unified School District
Saddle Mountain Unified School District
Pendergast Elementary School District
Dysart USD voters rejected bond approval but approved a bond override.
For Peoria Unified School District, just 1,200 votes separated the “yes” and “no” voters. A little over 51% voted “no,” while 48
