Starbucks workers strike, saying baristas want to "pay our bills," "survive"

Unionized Starbucks workers went on strike on Thursday, demanding a labor contract. Thursday marked the start of the annual Starbucks promotion, Red Cup Day, where customers can receive a limited-edition cup. Starbucks Workers United dubbed the strike the “red cup rebellion.”
