A few items from the hit show “Dawson’s Creek” are being auctioned off and parting ways with the show’s star actor, James Van Der Beek.

Partnering with Propstore’s Auctions, Van Der Beek will auction off several items from the hit TV show to help fund his battle against cancer. The actor has been battling stage 3 colon cancer since August 2023.

In a statement on the auction website , Van Der Beek said he felt now was the ideal time to sell some of these items.

“I’ve been storing these treasures for years, waiting for the right time to do something with them, and with all of the recent unexpected twists and turns life has presented recently, it’s clear that the time is now,” the statement reads. “And while I have some nostalgia tugging at me as I part with these items, it feels goo
