Boston Mayor Michelle Wu will be sworn in for her second term at a ceremony in January.

Wu was reelected last week . Her name was the only one on the ballot, as challenger Josh Kraft dropped out of the race after finishing second in September's preliminary election.

Her campaign team announced plans Thursday for her inauguration, which will be held at Boston Symphony Hall on Monday, Jan. 5, beginning at 10 a.m.

Wu will host other events throughout the week, her campaign added.

"Our mission is to make Boston a home for everyone and I'm honored to continue to serve our communities," Wu said in a statement. Mayor Michelle Wu helped cut down the city's annual Christmas tree, which Halifax has provided in gratitude
