INDIANAPOLIS — One of the major road construction projects on the south side of Indianapolis is finishing up and is set to reopen Monday.
INDOT says the Hanna Avenue bridge over Interstate 65 is expected to be open to motorists by the evening hours of Nov. 17.
The improvements to the bridge, which has been closed since June 16, include new signage, ramp reconstruction, drainage improvements and the near completion of new inside lanes on I-65.
Bridge work, however, is expected to continue through the winter, with construction of new outside lanes planned for next year.
