BELLE MEADE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Police are searching across multiple counties for a South American Theft Group targeting homes in Belle Meade and Brentwood, with burglaries following the same concerning pattern officers have been investigating for several days.
The group sneaks through woods to the back of houses, targeting homes on Friday and Saturday nights when residents are out to dinner or running errands. Police said the thieves were first seen wearing masks in May and are now focusing their efforts on upscale Nashville-area neighborhoods.
