In the wake of Chris d’Entremont crossing the floor to the Liberals, there has been pressure on Pierre Poilievre to show that he’s changing.
In interviews after joining the Carney government, d’Entremont said that his former party was run like a frat house.
Rather than press d’Entremont for more information or asking him about his own naked self-interest in crossing the floor, Canada’s national media have focused on Poilievre.
When a reporter asked Poilievre about the frat house comments that d’Entremont made on , Poilievre pushed back.
“Well, first of all, has had to correct the falsehoods that they put into that story. So, I encourage you to tell Canadians about the falsehoods you published and explain why you did that,” Poilievre said.
