BANGOR — The city of Bangor is once again changing the rules around winter street parking, and with more snow expected this weekend, officials are urging residents to pay close attention to when and where they can park.
Another winter in Bangor means new guidelines for drivers hoping to avoid tickets and tows.
In downtown Bangor, drivers can continue to park on the street both day and night, as long as the city hasn’t issued a parking ban.
“What we call a parking ban for city wide, you have to get off the street, find alternate parking. The same thing. If we just do a downtown district parking ban, you would find you’d have to get off the street for that,” Rob Clifton, interim assistant public works director, said.
