9Hackensack woman charged for allowing child sex abuse to continue
Hackensack, NJ – A 42-year-old Hackensack woman has been arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child after investigators say she knew about ongoing sexual assaults involving a juvenile and failed to intervene.
Jennifer Garcia-Mota was taken into custody last Friday in Paramus following a joint investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Hackensack Police Department. Authorities say she had prior knowledge of past sexual assaults against a juvenile and knowingly allowed the abuse to continue.
