The Wicked: For Good premiere in Singapore is always going to be known as the place where Cynthia Erivo showed off her superhero skills when she helped save Ariana Grande from a red carpet crasher.

The 38-year-old actress, who plays Elphaba in the movie, helped protect Ariana , 32, from a man who jumped over the barricade and rushed at her while walking the carpet on Thursday (November 13)) at Universal Studios Singapore in Sentosa, Singapore.

Before security even had a chance to step in, Cynthia rushed to Ariana ‘s side to push the man away from her.

The man was later identified on social media and it wasn’t the first time he’s done this to a celebrity.
