TV presenter Lorraine Kelly is joining a campaign to free 15 gentoo penguins that are currently living in a London aquarium "basement" without access to fresh air or sunlight. ‌

Currently living in captivity at the Sea Life London aquarium, after being transferred from Edinburgh Zoo , the campaign is seeking for an urgent review into the welfare of the penguins. ‌

In a recent social media post, Lorraine shared that she was "baffled" by the treatment of the birds, saying that it "makes no sense". ‌
